#6 Danhausen Vs. Dominick Mysterio — Human Monies On a Pole

This was a terrible match filled with predictable moments that were not worthy of SummerSlam. The Minihausens did not help because we have seen then time and time again. The best wrestling was when Tolitohausen took over. We virtually knew who the winner was going to be, deleting any storytelling possible. It was nice to see Joe Hendry, but then again, predictable. Although Danhausen could be considered a nice addition to the roster, he is getting very boring, and we need something new.

#5 Trick Williams Vs. Baron Corbin

No one really expected this to be a clinic. It wasn’t. The pace was very slow starting when Corbin hit Trick with a deep six to the outside of the ring. And when Corbin won that was a terrible choice also because he’s just not the best wrestler. However, watching Lil Yatche hitting Corbin with the kendo stick and Corbin sending Yatche through the table was cool. The end was not. Baron won by a cheap victory by smacking Trick with the title belt.

#4 Charlotte Flair Vs. Lash Legend Vs. Jade Cargill Vs. Chelsea Green Vs. Tiffany Stratton — Women’s Interim WWE Championship Ladder Match

Rhea Ripley had just been injured, so an interim ladder match was set for SummerSlam. The match had a nice pace to it with the crowd clearly behind Chelsea Green every time she climbed the ladder. We thought that mabey she could actually win it and achieve a dream that seemed impossible. She DID. Her win helped the overall rating of the match, increasing it by 0.5 because of storytelling. If it were not for her win the match would have been 6.75/10. Lash Legend also did good with some nice ladder bumps.

#3 Finn Balor Vs. Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn Vs. Gunther — WWE Title Number One Contender

We all thought this was going to be a one on one match between Finn Balor and Sami Zayn. Instead something much more interesting happened, Nick Aldis came to the stage and spoke. He introduced Gunther, and then Kevin Owen’s! He had just returned from a brutal neck injury. The match itself had a fast pace, a loud crowd, storytelling was average, but there was little to no character work. It ended with a victory for KO who hit his best friend Sami Zayn with a stunner.

#2 Penta Vs. Chad Gable — Intercontinental Championship

Rating from the Bros, 8.25/10

Chad Gable’s quest to find his first single’s championship finally ended in his emotional win over Penta. The pace was great, the moves were executed crisply, although the match didn’t have much story or intensity to it, the pace made up for it. The best part of the fight was when Penta did a Mexican Destroyer from the second rope to the ring apron. The crowd was also invested.

#1 Roman Reigns Vs. Seth Rollins — World Heavyweight Championship

Rating from the Bros, 8.75/10

Roman and Seth are two wrestlers that have chemistry in the ring. Both have fought each other multiple times but no Seth Vs. Roman match has been as good as this one. The pace was okay, the move execution was perfect. Also the crowd was ELECTRIC. The shield callbacks helped the storytelling, specifically with Dean Ambrose. Arguably the best part of the match was when Roman Power bombed Seth into one Announce desk and Seth did the same to Roman into the other desk. The match had a big fight feel as the Night Two Main Event of SummerSlam.
