There have been a total of 8 Eras in WWE history, some of these eras were underwhelming, while some were awesome. Here are the five best eras…
#5 Reality Era
Impressive for such little time

The Reality Era was after the underwhelming PG Era, and the Reality Era set the stage for the New Era AND the Renaissance Era. There were some poor moments, such as Roman Reign’s Babyface run, and trying to push Baron Corbin, but for the most part, this era had great moments. Those moments included Daniel Bryan’s title run (and great matches), Kevin Owens push, AJ Style’s run, Brock Lesner ending the streak, and The Sheild breaking up. It was short (2014-2016) but impactful.
#4 The Golden Era
WWE wasn’t as big then, but Hulkamania and other things ran wild!

This period of time (1983-1993) was VERY influential. Stars were made like Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, and Jake “The Snake” Robert’s. Of course Hulk was the big star, main eventing EIGHT WrestleManias in a row (there were 9 WrestleManias in the Golden Era), but there were plenty of other stars (like the ones I just named) that elevated match quality and added something different. The reason I didn’t rank this era higher was because of the lack of PPVs, shows, and the most matches were boring squash matches.
#3 The Renaissance Era
The current Era is showing that the future is bright

The "Renaissance Era" in WWE is awesome because it feels fresh and exciting. Lots of new wrestlers are getting big chances to shine, and they're showing off amazing skills. The matches are often really good, with surprising finishes that keep you on the edge of your seat. It's also cool to see different types of characters and stories, making the shows more fun for everyone. This time feels like a rebirth, bringing new energy and excitement to WWE. Stars like Cody Rhodes and John Cena are doing and have been doing AWESOME. John Cena’s title run has been incredible, with awesome feuds and promos, and new talent like Penta have been INSANE especially in the ring. If WWE keeps this up, or does better, it could very well be the best era EVER.
#2 The Ruthless Aggression Era
The best in-ring work ever in WWE

The Ruthless Aggression Era was the successor to the Attitude Era. Stars like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Batista were built, some wrestlers cemented their legacy like Shawn Micheals, Triple H, Kurt Angle, and The Undertaker. But the in-ring work was outstanding. I can name a million classics from this era, like Shawn Micheals Vs. Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 21, Randy Orton Vs. Cactus Jack at Backlash 2004, Triple H vs. Shawn Micheals at SummerSlam 2002, the list goes on and on… This era also had quality PPVs like WrestleMania 21, and SummerSlam 2002. And you know what made those PPVs awesome, the in ring work! The Ruthless Aggression Era was an era in the squared circle.
#1 The Attitude Era

Most people think that the Attitude Era was the greatest era of all time and I fail to disagree. SO many stars were made, like Steve Austin, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Mick Foley…This era was special. WWE just ended the New Generation Era (it stunk) AND they were fighting the Monday Night Wars against WCW, so they needed to step up their game, and they obviously did. The matches were awesome, and the mic work second to none (actually second to NONE), but the feuds were on another level. Overall, the Attitude Era stepped out of the old format and brought something WAY different and better.
