#5 The New Day

The thing that the New Day has done may never be forgiven by WWE fans… they betrayed their own member, Big E. Also, the New Day are great on the mic and can get the crowd really mad at them. Great heels.

#4 Dominick Mysterio

Dirty Dominick Mysterio does a fantastic job at making the crowd HATE his guts. He doesn’t even put many good matches but the other stuff makes Dominick a star. He interferes in lots of matches that upsets the crowd and formed an alliance with the hated Judgement Day. Also, at SummerSlam, he did a heel turn when he was already a heel betraying Rhea Ripley. Dominick Mysterio plays the heel character smartly to succeed.

#3 The Rock

One of the most unexpected heel turns of all time happened before WrestleMania 40. I wonder how the Rock did it because he has so much Star power, the crowd really wants to see him, but he made Cody Rhodes a better babyface and made the crowd dislike him. It just goes to show how good The Rock is, he can be a heel or a babyface anytime he wants to.

#2 Drew Mcintyre

The Scottish Warrior found new life as a heel in WWE. Like all great heels, he believes himself to be doing good and actually does a good job explaining himself. His mic skills are fantastic and his in ring style shows his ruthlessness. Drew McIntyre made the fans hate him with the best rivalry of the year against fan favorite CM Punk. His earlier heel turns were never as good as this one, he was never better this way.

#1 Gunther

Literally everything Gunther did in 2024 showcased his heel character. His hard hitting in ring style would beat the fans favorite babyface TO THE GROUND. Every single week on Raw day in and day out he would put on unmatched mic speeches that annoyed the crowd so much. Gunther even talked down to Bret Hart and Goldberg! But, my favorite part of Gunther in 2024 was when he faked a match with Sami Zayn on Raw, which angered the crowd SO MUCH. He has carried WWE as a heel World Heavyweight Champion and most importantly, establish himself as a top star.
