#8 Heel In Ring Skills, 9/10

The NEW DANIEL BRYAN had some incredible matches. His style is fast and furious with amazing storytelling and everything. Bryan was created as a star when he was a babyface and made stars as a heel.

#7 Babyface In Ring Skills, 9.5/10

Daniel Bryan has had some incredible matches and performances in WWE. Bryan is consistent and had multiple great matches during his time with the business. His best performances included, him Vs. John Cena at SummerSlam 2013, and against Triple H at WrestleMania 30. He only spent a little bit in WWE and had a lot more great matches than anyone had during the years he was with WWE.

#6 Heel Mic Skills, 9.5/10

The New Daniel Bryan was expected to stay a babyface, but did NOT. Bryan fought AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and actually won it by low blowing the champ. Bryan was now a heel. Week after week Bryan was putting on incredible promos kind of like what John Cena did in 2025. The Friday after Bryan beat Styles, Bryan had one of the best promos of all time.

#5 Babyface Mic Skills, 8/10

Daniel Bryan was able to capture the crowds attention and start making them chant, “Yes!”. The only reason Daniel isn’t rated a 9 is because he did not have the depth as some of his heel speeches. Nevertheless, Bryan was pushed because of his awesome mic skills (an 8/10 is really good) and his in ring ability. You can put on a great match, but if you can’t talk, you aren’t half as good. Bryan did both.

#4 Finisher, 8.5/10

Daniel Bryan is an amazing in ring performer with amazing finishers. Bryan used two incredible moves, the “Yes”Lock (“No”Lock, also), and the Running Knee. They are both amazing with each one having a case to be better. Let’s start with the Running Knee. Bryan could hit this move out of nowhere with his speed and accuracy, Bryan also made the move look extremely impactful like a finisher should be. And with the “Yes!” Lock. Bryan was an absolute AMAZING technical wrestler, and Bryan made this Cross-Face look REAL and BRUTAL.

#3 Gimmick, 9.5/10

“NO!” “YES!” These chants go down as some of the best in wrestling history. And the thing is Daniel Bryan created them! His gimmick was mostly about the chants though, so that is why I only rated it an 9.5/10. Although, Bryan’s attitude changed and everything when his gimmick changed to the heel.

#2 Overall Look, 9/10

Bryan has an extremely impressive look. He is smaller than most wrestlers which makes it even cooler he was champion. Bryan is in excellent condition, and his beard and hair style makes him look distinct in the WWE business.

#1 Entrance, 8.5/10

You may be thinking, “Yes!” This guy just gave Daniel Bryan an appropriate rating for his entrance, or Maybe, “No!”. That’s OK because Daniel Bryan has a fantastic entrance that is electric if you are in the stadium. Everything, the music, and the chants are awesome. “YES!” I nearly finished my list!
