Every 10/10 Match In WWE History In Chronological Order

Updated: Jul 4

A 10/10 match has to be flawless and executed perfectly. Over the years, there have been very few of these technical masterpieces. However, in this list we will uncover every perfect match in WWE history. If you want to see how we rank these, check our match criteria post.

#1 Shawn Michales vs Razor Ramon Wrestlemania 10

An innovative new match type was created and it delivered

The first ladder match was also the best ladder match. It had innovative spots, violent moments, and an iconic ending that left fans clamoring for more. I was truly stunned watching this match. They tore the house down in an iconic match. The first perfect match in history was truly one to remember and rewatching it would be even more rewarding.

#2 Shawn Michales vs The Undertaker In Your House Badd Blood 1997

The only perfect hell in a cell match

This match had everything. The crowd was absolutely perfect. Shawn played his character to perfection, and so did Taker. The pace was great. Something was always happening, even when they were both layed out on the floor. Shawn fell from the top of the cell, elevating the match even further, until the big red machine, Kane came out and layed out the Undertaker with a tombstone finishing one of the greatest matches ever in a great way.

#3 Steve Austin vs Bret Hart Wrestlemania 13

Austin and Bret put on a storytelling classic that could be the best on this list

Mabey the most iconic picture in wrestling history was when Steve Austin was a bloody mess in a sharpshooter, however he wouldn’t quit. Austin passed out due to the pain and lost the match but he won the fans heart. The rest of the match was great as well, as it had great technical wrestle in hand fighting in the crowd, which was something that wasn’t common back then.

#4 The Dudley’s vs The Hardy’s vs Edge and Christian

Maybe the closest match in this list to a 9.75, but the pace carried it

There was always something going on in this ladder match whether it be Jeff Hardy throwing his body on the line or The Dudleys slamming people through tables! The moves were absolutely insane, and so was the crowd. The character work was great, and so was the storytelling. It wasn’t as good as some of the other matches on this list, but I couldn’t pinpoint anything wrong about it either. The second TLC match at Wrestlemania was a banger.

#5 Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003

A technical masterclass that delivered big time

This was essentially a better version of the Angle vs Shawn match at Wrestlemania 21. Both men battled in a seesaw match that showcased great physiology and storytelling, and was thrilling. Every fan, even at home, were on their feet. This was an underrated classic that technical wrestling fans will highly enjoy.

#6 Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker Wrestlemania 25

The greatest match of all time

This match is commonly known as the greatest match of all time, and I can’t disagree. The storytelling was great, as two of the best wrestlers of all time showing perfect chemistry and in ring mind games. The pace was great, and so was the move execution. Shawn and Taker put their bodies on the line in a clinic that we will never forget. What a match
