MITB was an average PLE last year (2024) but this year, it was on another level. There were 3 great matches, cool ladder winners and R TRUTH’s return!!!
#5 Dominick Mysterio Vs. Octagon Jr., Intercontinental Championship
Rating from the bros, 6.25/10

This match was average, with some OK heel work by Dominick, but the entire match felt transitional. None of the moves felt important, but all the corkscrew highflying moves by Octagon Jr. were cool. The crowd wasn’t super into it which is how most matches are, but to get a higher rating, it needed some pizzaz. Also, the distraction from Liv Morgan felt transitional because it literally happens every match with the judgement day.
#4 Women’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match
Rating from the Bros, 6.5/10

The Women’s ladder match had higher expectations, but it definitely wasn’t a bad match. There were cool moments, such as when Roxxane Perez did a huricanerana to Reah Ripley on a ladder, and when Stephenie Vaquer did a “Devil’s Kiss” (Kneeling Facebuster) on the LADDER. But the problem was that most of the match was slow paced, and(except for the cool moments) you would just want to skip through it.
#3 Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso Vs. John Cena and Logan Paul
Rating from the Bros, 7.25/10

This match was awesome, but the beginning was far from it. I would have rated this WAY higher if the start to the match was a little better, but things started to kick off after Logan Paul and John Cena got into their argument (1/2 of the match was just boring). Logan and Cena were having some issues, then Jey Uso tagged in Cody and then the match was CHAOS. From there everyone hit their finishers, even a cool superplex (Paul was holding a drone and you got to see the veiw from Logan’s HAND!). After those cool spots, Logan Paul hit an INSANE lionsault (shown in picture) to Jey Uso. But then… Cena hit an AA to Rhodes, R TRUTH CAME BACK! R Truth answered the fans with his return and beat up John Cena, which set up the win for Jey and Cody.
#2 Lyra Valkeria Vs. Becky Lynch, Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Rating from the Bros, 8/10

I liked this match because of the amazing technical work. Both Becky and Lyra already had a really great match at Backlash 2025 (8.5/10), so they continued their sequel, here, at Money In the Bank. The match started off pretty good, but then the good part of the match came to a start, with an amazing leg drop on the ring barricade. From then on it was awesome, fast pased, and the crowd was super into it (there was even a “We want Truth” chant!). Becky eventually became the NEW women’s Intercontinental Champion.
#1 Men’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match
Rating from the Bros, 8.25/10

This match was fast paced the whole way through, however, once LA Knight hit the big suplex from the ladder, things stepped up a notch, which gave this fight an 8.25/10. There were some really cool moments, like when Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer on a ladder, Jacob Fatu’s betrayal of Solo Sikoa, and when Jacob did a spinning Solo through a ladder (there are many other moves that are arguably cooler than these). You NEED to watch this.
