Hulk Hogan’s Best WWE Matches

Updated: 1 day ago

Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time if not the greatest. He has had a few classics that were worthy of watching over and over again. Since Hogan died recently, it is fitting that I make a post about his amazing legacy and classic matches.

#5 Vs Vince McMahon, WrestleMania 19

7.75/10

This one was a real STREET FIGHT. Vince took some nasty chair shots to the head. Hogan made the crowd electric. Vince even did an incredible leg drop from a ladder through the announce table! You might not expect a Vince McMahon match to make the list, but it definitely did!

#4 Vs Andre the Giant, Wrestlemania 3

8.25/10

This match was LEGENDARY, it may have not had the technical class or fast pace it needed for a higher rating, but it was one of the most important matches ever. Mabey the best passing of the torch scene ever, when Hulk Hogan BODY SLAMMED the 500 pound Andre, hit him with the leg drop, and pinned him 1-2-3. Also, one of the high spots was the completely Insanely loud crowd that carried them through this match.

#3 Vs The Ultimate Warrior, Wrestlemania 6

8.25/10

The Ultimate Warrior was definitely in his prime by this point, and Hogan also. The crowd was absolutely WILD. They were cheering for Hogan and Cheering for The Warrior. This was the match between the two biggest stars in the industry at the time. Warrior and Hogan didn’t disappoint. They put on an amazing match that will be talked about for years to come.

#2 Vs Randy Savage Wrestlemania 5

8.5/10

This match was a fiercely contested affair, with Savage utilizing his quickness and aggressiveness to gain an early advantage. He unleashed a barrage of attacks, including his signature diving elbow drop, which nearly put Hogan away. However, Hulk Hogan hulked up after taking a significant amount of punishment. He absorbed Savage's best shots, then mounted his comeback with a series of punches, the iconic big boot, and finally, the awesome leg drop with the crowd on their feet.

#1 vs The Rock Wrestlemania 18

9.5/10

ree

The Rock vs Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 18 was made up of mostly one thing: THE CROWD. This was the loudest crowd noise of any wrestling match of all time. It was THUNDEROUS. The character work was amazing. One of the other reasons this was so good was because it was the second best double turn of all time. The crowd ERUPTED when Hogan hit a punch and booed when the Rock hit any maneuvers.
