#6 Jade Cargill vs Asuka

Rating from the bros 5.5/10

This match was kind of bad. There was nothing special other than that Cargill is going to Summerslam. The pace was slow, The crowd was asleep, and this match was worse than everyone thought.

#5 Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross

Rating from the bros 6.25/10

Karrion did a pretty good job as a heel and Sami did great as a babyface. The work inside the ring was only okay. I was expecting this match to be at least a little better, but you can’t expect Zayn to put on great matches every event. A good part was when Zayn finished Kross with the kick in the corner for the win.

#4 Solo Sikoa vs Jacob Fatu

Rating from the bros, 6.5/10

Solo Sikoa is finally the star WWE wanted him to be. Jacob proved himself as a solid babyface also. The action in the match was mid. At times the match was slow with the crowd lagging behind. But other times the crowd was cheering for Fatu wildly. The end was great thought. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa came back. Tonga Loa looked 7 feet tall this time! This was a decent match to start Solo’s run as US champ.

#3 Rheah Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez

Rating from the bros 7.25

Rheah and Raquel put on a brutal showing. This wasn’t a classic by any means but it was good. Raquel powerbomed Rheah through the roof of the the announce table that was stacked between the barricades. Then, Rheah got tied up in the ropes and Raquel BRUTALLY beat her with a kendow stick. After all the chaos, Rheah won by a ripetide from the top rope.

#2 Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes

Rating from the bros 7.5/10

The crowd was ELECTRIC, the moves were smooth, and Cody got a feel good moment when he won the king of the ring crown. Randy did an incredible RKO when Cody tried for his signature Cody cutter but Orton caught out of mid air! Orton uncovered the turn buckle and then Cody pushed his chest into the metal. OUCH! After that, Cody picked up the win by a Cody Cutter to face John Cena at Summerslam.

#1 John Cena vs CM Punk

Rating from the bros 9/10

The main event of night of champions was AWESOME. Punk and Cena turned back the clock for a highly anticipated match that delivered. The crowd was INSANELY loud giving the bout the atmosphere it deserved. We thought Rollins might cash in but Cena wouldn’t allow it. There were plenty of fun counters also. So far this is the best match of his retirement run so far.
