In WWE, Wrestlemania is the grandest stage of them all. It definitely lives up to that nickname. In recent years, WWE has produced some of the best stages in sports entertainment history, with each one having its own element. The 42 years of Wrestlemania have certainly impressed with the stage design. Today, I will be ranking the best stages in Wrestlemania history.
#7 Wrestlemania 40

Wrestlemania in Philadelphia was certainly one to remember. Cody Rhodes won the championship, The Rock competed in his last match to date, and there was a historic MITB cash in. With all that going on, the stage was still spectacular. Green for the Eagles and a huge sign with Wrestlemania on it was cool. However, it was basically the better version of WM 31, which had the same style. With all that aside, it was a pretty great stage and a good ramp.
#6 Wrestlemania 30

To kick off the list, we are going to put the beginning of an era, Wrestlemania 30. The stage was huge and the ramp was even longer. The purple colors meshed well with yellow, and The Undertaker had one of his best entrances at this event. To make it higher, WM 30 just had to be more unique. WWE has already done a lot of this style of the Wrestlemania wording, so it would be nice to see something completely fresh, however I love the Roman numerals to the stage.
#5 Wrestlemania 41

WM 41 produced some of the best entrances in wrestling history. It also had some nice colors that symbolized Las Vegas. Although these things were great, the building of the casino at the top was just lighting. If it had been real this might rank a bit higher, however I feel like WWE did a nice job, actually an amazing job.
#4 Wrestlemania 29

The sheer size of WM 29 was what made it make the list. MetLife Staduim was truly a sight to behold. There was also a Statue of Liberty with New York City above the ring. The bridge was absolutely massive, making for an epic visual. There was nothing objectively wrong about it, but it wasn’t as good as 3 other stages on the list.
#3 Wrestlemania 34

WM 34 may have had the most creative stage design. The mask and colors were absolutely stunning. Even the Wrestlemania written on the stage was peak. Everything about this stage was perfect, nonetheless this is only the 3rd best stage in WrestleMania history.
#2 WrestleMania 39

This stage absolutely wowed fans. The whole arena was humongous, and the stage was even cooler. The red and gold colors blended perfectly with each match making it feel Hollywood worthy. The ramp was the best ramp of all time, but the stage just couldn’t be better than the best…
#1 WrestleMania 33

Wrestlemania 33 had it all. From a globe, a rollercoaster, and an over the top atmosphere, it couldn’t be held back from first place. The ultimate thrill ride was the perfect gimmick for a perfect stage. The ramp way was huge, and the arena was sold out, giving it the extra boast it needed to have the esteemed honor of being the best WrestleMania stage of all time.
