#13 Rusev vs Sheamus, Clash At The Castle

8.5/10

When it comes to brutality and strength you think of Rusev and Sheamus. These 2 titans delivered a hard hitting battle lewith a red hot crowd (talk about a loud crowd). Some major highlights was when Sheamus jumped off 2 really high barrels through 2 tables. The near falls were insane and Sheamus used his coveted shillelagh to ground and pound the big Rusev to the floor. This match totally deserves to be in the best of 2025. This was the greatest match Rusev ever had!

#12 Iyo Sky vs Rheah Ripley vs Bianca Belair, Wrestlemania 41

8.75/10

At WrestleMania 41, Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley delivered a fast paced, action-packed showdown, trading breathtaking strikes, aerial maneuvers, and power moves. Each woman had moments of dominance—Sky with her acrobatics, Belair with her speed and strength, and Ripley with her raw power—keeping the crowd on edge until the very end. The match was a relentless display of skill, athleticism, and determination, leaving fans in awe as only one emerged victorious which was none other than Iyo Sky herself.

#11 12 Man Tag Team Match, Summerslam

8.75/10

This is the definition of a fun chaotic tables, ladders, and chairs match EXCEPT 12 MEN. They could barely fit in the ring! Montez Ford was back to his best, bouncing around the ring and doing suicide dive flips like it’s nothing. They used tables indeed! The street prophets got crushed when they fell off the ladders through the tables. Sadly I could not rank this as high as I would like to because the storytelling was just okay.

#10 Sami Zayn vs Ilja Dragnov, Smackdown

8.75/10

Ilja Dragnov made his surprising return to WWE. Sami was having a world class US championship run, when the tough Ilja Dragnov interrupted Sami’s reign. Wow, this was brutal and it was the beginning of an amazing championship reign by Dragnov. The crowd was electric as well elevating this match to an 8.75/10.

#9 Ilja Dragnov vs Tommaso Ciampa, Smackdown

8.75/10

Ilja Dragnov and Tommaso Ciampa delivered a hard hitting affair leaning into both men’s no nonsense way of wrestling. Ciampa focused on wearing Dragnov down while Dragnov fought back with his signature resilience. The intensity kept on building and building, near fall after near fall until Dragnov outlasted Ciampa in an amazing match testing both men’s strength and skill.

#8 AJ Styles vs John Cena, Crown Jewel

8.75/10

Cena and Styles paid homage to almost all of their former rivals. Even Styles wore his old TNA gear. Talk about loud crowds and this one comes #1. The pure wrestling was an instant classic being better than Cena’s final match. Cena hit the walls of Jericho, sister Abigail, and many more homages and maneuvers. THIS IS A MUST SEE MATCH FROM CENA’S RETIREMENT TOUR!

#7 CM Punk vs Gunther, Summerslam

8.75/10

This match was a technical masterpiece. There were heavy blows, insanely loud chops, and a cash in that shocked the world. Gunther sold the arm really well. CM Punk did a good job busting Gunther open in an intense matchup. But the best moment came after the match. Seth Rollins came out in crutches to show CM Punk a message. Then, Seth threw his crutches to the floor! He brawled with Punk until he stomped him and won the world heavyweight championship by cashing in his money in the bank contract! This is the NEW heist of the century!

#6 John Cena vs Gunther, Saturday Night’s Main Event Dec 13

8.75/10

WOW. I could hardly believe it. This was John Cena’s final ever match. WWE smartly treated this like a special moment by making this the main event. The Washington DC arena went wild for Cena and hated Gunther badly. Cena and Gunther put on a classic that will be remembered forever. Cena hit his final shots to close the curtain on his career, but it wasn’t enough. Gunther hit him with stiff shots and multiple powerbombs. The closing moments saw Cena getting mauled by Gunther in a sleeper hold. Cena came so close to winning, but eventually it was too much. Cena. Tapped. Out.

#5 Iyo Sky vs Rheah Ripley, Evolution

9/10

At WWE Evolution, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley faced off in a thrilling battle of speed versus power. Sky’s high-flying agility clashed with Ripley’s devastating strength, trading moonsaults, powerslams, and near-falls in a nonstop, edge-of-your-seat match. Each woman fought with relentless intensity, keeping the crowd on their feet until the final, breathtaking moment when Iyo Sky emerged with the victory.

#4 Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns vs CM Punk, Wrestlemania 41

9/10

What an absolute breathtaking performance by all four men. That fourth man in Paul Heyman who surprised the world by betraying Roman Reigns and CM Punk to form the vision. The overall match was spectacular with 2 powerbombs through both announce tables. They fought in the crowd, outside the ring, and inside the squared circle. In the match, Roman tried a spear but Rollins caught him in mid air and did a pedigree. The punches were brutal and the atmosphere just made you want to watch more and more. WHAT A PERFORMANCE.

#3 DIY vs The Motor City Machine Guns vs The Street Phrophets, Smackdown

9.25/10

Down to the top 3! These six men reached new heights with a five star TLC match. There were highlight spots everywhere. This was one of the fastest paced matches I have ever seen. Angelo Dawkins speared Tommaso Ciampa off a ladder through a table! Montez Ford did a suicide dive flip through a table! The machine guns hit their finisher through a table to the outside of the ring! Dawkins threw Johnny Gargano on the spine of a steel chair. Brutality! I am in awe at what these 3 teams did on the Smackdown after mania.

#2 John Cena vs Cody Rhodes, Summerslam

9.25/10

You see both of these men’s faces. One face was the face of WWE in the past. The other man carried WWE in the present. The story was simple. Cena wanted to keep his title of the greatest of all time, not just the past but the present. Rhodes wanted to become the new face of the company which he eventually did. I am amazed at what these two did inside the ring at Summerslam. John Cena did an AA from announce table to announce table, Cody did a VIOLENT piledriver, and the crowd was RABID. They fought everywhere in the arena. Cena did incredible character work, and so did Rhodes. This match had fluid counters and NASTY moves. Cena was back to his best putting on an instant classic that will be remembered for a long, long time. You need to watch this over the top encounter of a life time.

#1 Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn, Elimination Chamber 2025

9.5/10

This match was an absolute classic. Kevin showcased his heel personality perfectly by doing insane, crazy things. Sami had to do WHATEVER it took to bring Kevin down. Sami even brought in a barbed wire steel chair to do a blue thunderbomb to Kevin! They fought in the crowd wildly. Sami did 2 blue thunderbombs through 2 tables to Kevin. Kevin showed his cheating side when he grabbed to referee to take the huluva kick. Sami literally got flipped over from the top rope to the outside through 2 tables! To end this wild brawl, Kevin did 2 vicious apron powerbombs to Sami. But, it was not over. Randy Orton came back like a ghost in the past to haunt Kevin Owens. He hit an RKO to Kevin to set up their feud. The number one match of 2025 was a banger!
