#5 Bron Breaker

He truly is the future of WWE

Bron Breaker is the leader of the vision, and with his various other stats, he deserves a spot on this list. Bron has proved himself capable on the mic delivering great promos insulting all Babyfaces that come his way. He has also showed himself capable in the ring, as he had an incredible match with CM Punk on Stranger Things Raw (8.25/10). If Breaker keeps this up, he will be a candidate for the best wrestler of the year.

#4 Carmelo Hayes

He has won momentum ever since gaining the US Championship

The man who doesn’t miss has had three incredible matches, all for the US Championship. One against Dragonov, another against Leon Slater, and verses Rey Fenix. All surpass or meet the rating of 7.75/10 (that means it is a great match) , which cements him as a clear top star. He is Smackdown’s walking highlight reel.

#3 CM Punk

The best in the world truly lives up to this legacy

Much like Carmelo Hayes, CM Punk has had 3 great matches in January 2026. His best one came at Stranger Things Raw where Punk defeated Bron Breaker for the World Heavyweight Championship. His other two amazing fights came at Raw in Belfast against Finn Balor, and at another Raw he tied stalemated against AJ Styles. The reason he is higher on this list than Hayes, is that his matches were a tad bit better, and his promos were also on a higher level.

#2 Gunther

The Ring General deserves the push he is getting

The biggest star in WWE right now is the career killer Gunther. He has proved his worth by having two fantastic matches with AJ Styles. One was against him on Raw (8.5/10), and another was at the Royal Rumble as AJ Style’s very last match (8.75/10). Gunther has had incredible promos giving all his enemies all his hatred. Gunther has been winning and winning so much, which is a great choice from WWE because once all the OGs retire the only one left will be Jevon Evans 😂.

#1 AJ Styles

He.Retired.

We knew Styles was going to retire in 2026, just not when. So, apparently Styles had his career SHUT DOWN by Gunther in an amazing and emotional spectacle at Royal Rumble (8.75/10). Arguably his best match came at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Shinsuke Nakamura in an unique performance that showcased what these two legends could do (9/10). He also had 2 more amazing matches, one with Gunther in Raw (8.5/10), and one with CM Punk on Raw (7.75/10). With FOUR amazing matches in a MONTH, I think he derserves this spot. When you do this kind of stuff it just easily outclasses even the best of promos.
