#5 vs The Undertaker No Way Out 2006

This match was the definition of a technical masterpiece. Angle was targeting Taker’s knee right from the beginning. He smacked it across the ring post so hard it looked like it broke his kneecap! Taker tried for some offense, but Angle did an Angle Slam on the announce table. The match only picked up from there. Angle countered the tombstone into an Ankle Lock. Taker hit a choke slam! This match deserved to be the best match of the year.

#4 vs Steve Austin Summerslam 2001

This match was a bloody battle. Angle kept on ramming Austin’s face into the steel ring post over and over again. Each men executed their finishers to perfection. It was fun to watch these two gladiators give it their all in this bloody brawl. In the end, Angle won by disqualification, but Austin retained his title.

#3 vs Brock Lesnar Smackdown

I do not know how these men could battle for a whole hour and it being this high on the list. This, without question is the best Iron Man Match in WWE history. As you can see above, there were plenty of highlights. It had the perfect amount of falls. If their are to many, than it is just a wasted match, but if there are only one then it gets really boring. This one was perfect. In the end though, Angle lost when the time ran out while he was putting an Ankle Lock on Lesnar.

#2 Vs Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 21

Shawn Michaels is pro wrestling's GOAT. Angle got to wrestle him at the grandest stage of them all. Shawn did a springboard crossbody onto the announce table! Angle did an angle slam on the ring post. Shawn hit a sweet chin music out of nowhere! One two NOOOO! Finally, Angle put Shawn away with the Ankle Lock.

#1 Vs Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003

Rating from the Bros, 10/10

The crowd knew Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit had a lot of chemistry, but they never expected them to put on a 5 Star technical classic. The crowd was not the loudest at the beginning of the match, but at the end they realized that this was an incredible match and went RABID. Kurt and Benoit had absolutely perfect counters with both men knowing what to do at all times. The German Suplexes were used to perfection, and Benoit did an amazing job with the diving headbuts.
